I Won't Push For Further Investigation Of Hillary Clinton - Donald Trump.
Despite the threats made by US President-elect, Donald Trump that he would push for further investigation of Hillary Clinton related to her private email use and the Clinton Foundation, his close adviser said on Tuesday, November 22 that he won’t go ahead with it.
Trump triggered consternation — and widespread condemnation — when he made an unprecedented campaign threat to jail his Democratic rival should he win the White House.
The Republican made Clinton’s email scandal and allegations of pay-to-play at her family foundation a core theme of his campaign, railing against her “crimes” and leading fired-up supporters in chants of “Lock her Up!”
But since his election he has deflected questioning on the subject, saying in an interview he would think about it, but had other priorities as incoming head of state.
“I think when the president-elect… tells you before he’s even inaugurated that he doesn’t wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone, and content” to fellow Republicans, Trump aide Kellyanne Conway said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
During their second presidential debate in October, Trump told Clinton he would instruct his attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into her email practices when secretary of state.
Clinton responded: “it’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.”
Trump then quipped: “Because you’d be in jail.”
Conway told CNN that Clinton “still has to face the fact a majority of Americans don’t find her to be honest or trustworthy.”
“If Donald Trump can help her heal, perhaps that’s a good thing,” she added.
“He’s thinking of many different things as he prepares to become the president of the United States, and things that sound like the campaign aren’t among them.

bankruptcy a number of times; lost the three presidential debates largely by showing scant knowledge of world politics; mocked John McCain for being a Prisoner of War, POW; labelled Mexicans rapists and thieves; allegedly questioned judge’s integrity because of parent’s heritage; confronted by dozens of assault victims and witnesses with allegations of abuse; disparaged former Ms America for being overweigh; tweeted about sex tapes at 3am; called for more extreme forms of torture against terror suspects; asked why nuclear weapons can’t be used since they are readily available; said working women who become pregnant are a discount to productivity; caught on tape saying women should be grabbed by the ….
As for Hillary Clinton, she used an unauthorised server to send emails while serving as Secretary of State. This, some Americans found unforgivable?
Therefore, they opted to vote for Donald Trump.
Perish that assumption.
Even if Madam Clinton had not had the email controversy to contend with, Trump would have probably won because of the theme of his campaign: Hate!
He promised Americans what many of them liked hearing – that the country was being lost, and that some people were out to take their country from them.
Trump was able to work on the mentality of fanatical Americans, those breed who believe in the ‘us-against-them’ syndrome.
Indeed, there were some who openly wept in lamentation because Obama won the 2008 presidential contest.
At Silversprings, Maryland, not far from the office of Discovery in Maryland, this writer had a first hand encounter with Americans who cursed and swore to take their country back from Obama after his first term. Unfortunately for that lot, Obama defeated Mitt Romney in 2012 and secured a second term.
Therefore, when you see a Trump in shining xenophobic armour chanting “we need to take our country back”, he had a ready base to appeal to.
Against all odds, Trump was necessarily going to win the presidential election of November 8, 2016. This because, according to an exposition on the internet, every bold advancement of freedom in America had always met with a backlash of equal if not more measure and, in some instances, racist in nature.
Take, for stance, the emancipation of the slaves and reconstruction which was met with resistance by one white supremacist Jim Crow. Or how the desegregation of schools and public spaces in the 1960s “birthed a wave of resegregation in the 1980s; or the voting rights act of 1965; and half century later there are poll lines so long they disenfranchise those who cannot afford to wait, while new laws are excluding countless citizens who have voted all their lives”
The post goes on to illustrate why the occupancy of the White House by a black man was most sacrilegious in the estimation of some Americans.
“So”, it continues, “when we voted against the odds to elect the first black President eight years ago, when we had a clear symbol that the country was literally becoming more black, why shouldn’t we expect the successor to be the meanest, whitest most vile bigot possible? The very same guy who demanded to see Obama’s birth certificate to prove he was a real American. And when protesters demanded that Black Lives Matter, why shouldn’t we have anticipated the rise of a candidate who encourages violence against peaceful demonstrators? A President Trump would fit right into American history. And like Presidents Jefferson, Jackson, FDR, Reagan, Clinton, and yes, even Obama, a President Trump would continue our American tradition of leaders who expand the empire through the suffering of people of colour. I’m waiting for the year 2043, when this white supremacist nation becomes mostly non-white” – there is a study which suggests that by 2043, Latinos, and people of colour generally would have a numerical superiority against white Americans.
As for the monster of electoral college, it is not for lack of trying: 700 times Americans had made attempts to amend or thrash the electoral college model but they had never succeeded.
Perhaps, were the generality of Americans to allow for proportional sharing of electors in the college, Donald Trump may not have won the US presidential election of last Tuesday. Just as members of the Democratic Party woke up at some point to the fairness of proportional allocation of delegates, a process which allows contending aspirants for the party’s ticket to share delegates based on the proportion of votes garnered, it is expected, rather than hoped, that, at some point, the American system would find meaning in proportional representation for electors. In fact, but for proportionality, Barrack Obama could not have defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic Party primary.
That said, how did virtually every opinion poll misread the stars? It has been discovered that some of the people interviewed/polled disclosed that the toxicity of the environment around Trump coupled with the potential for opprobrious reaction made them give false responses regarding their choice of president. Therefore, many who actually planned to vote for Trump said they were not going to vote for him or that they were undecided.
But this autopsy would not resurrect the dead horse. Trump would be sworn-in on January 20, 2017, to begin his four-year term.
Unfortunately, not one immune to controversy, Trump’s transition committee is already swimming in controversy with his sons taking a front row. The challenge is that Trump’s vast business interests, according to him, would be handled by his sons while he is running the affairs of the United States. But now that his sons are part of the transition committee, a committee which would have unfettered access to state information in all ramifications, while at the same time running their father’s business, how un-conflicting is that?

President Buhari re-iterated that he had been in government since 1975, variously as governor, oil minister, head of state, and Chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF), "and never did I hear the word 'padding' till the 2016 Budget."
He promised that such would never happen again under his watch.
The President said the government stands by its tripod campaign promises of securing the country, reviving the economy, and fighting corruption, but lamented that some people are deliberately turning blind eyes to prevailing realities in the country.
"They don't want to reflect on the situation in which we are, economically. They want to live the same way; they simply want business as usual," he said.
On violence that attend rerun elections in the country, President Buhari stated:
"I agonized over the elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Rivers states. We should have passed the stage in which people are beheaded, and killed because of who occupies certain offices. If we can't guarantee decent elections, then we have no business being around. Edo State election was good, and I expect Ondo State election to be better."
Speaking on the anti-corruption cases before the courts, the President said he believed the cleansing currently going on "will lead to a better judiciary. When people are sentenced, Nigerians will believe that we are serious."
President Buhari equally told his guests that the progress being made in agriculture and exploitation of solid minerals "gives a lot of hope," adding:
"Our grains go up to Central African Republic, to Burkina Faso, but they can't buy all the grains harvested this year. And next season should be even better. We will focus on other products like cocoa, palm oil, palm kernel, along with the grains. We can start exporting rice in 18 months, and we are getting fertilizers and pesticides in readiness for next year."
Speaking on behalf of members of GSG, Hon. Nwajiuba said the government had succeeded to a large extent on the security and anti-corruption fronts, adding that the group was positive that the economy would soon experience a turnaround, "as the government is working very hard in that direction."
The group said the biggest constituency of the President was the poor and lowly, and thus recommended what it calls "a social re-armament of the poor."
Who Is KT McFarland, Trump’s New Deputy National Security Adviser?
It was reported Friday that KT McFarland will be joining the president-elect’s White House team as his new deputy national security adviser, a position that does not require Senate confirmation.
McFarland is a Fox News national security analyst and outspoken critic of Barack Obama‘s counterterrorism and foreign policy strategies.
In Sept. 2014 she accused Obama of having “stuck his head in the sand” with regards to ISIS and said that he was to blame for the terrorist group beheading two Americans. She said he was guilty of a “dereliction of duty” and that he “clearly was not attending to the defense of the United States.”
During the same segment, she sounded a distinctly Trumpian note when she expressed what she would have liked to hear Obama say: “We’re going to secure the border, we’re going to get rid of political correctness and figure out who is here.”
Like Trump she was critical of the Iran Nuclear Deal, saying that Americans “got played” and sacrificed all its leverage without gaining anything but “vague promises” in return.
Before joining Fox she served as former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs under Ronald Reagan.
“Nobody has called foreign policy right more than President-elect Trump, and he gets no credit for it,” McFarland said Friday in a statement. “I’m honored and humbled that he has asked me to be part of his team.
Trump Built a Wall Along His Scottish Golf Course and Tried to Force Residents to Pay For It
One of President-elect Donald Trump’s biggest campaign promises was that he was going to build a big beautiful wall along America’s southern border and and make Mexico pay for it. it was a mantra that was repeated over and over again at his rallies.
Well, it appears Trump has already tried this strategy once before, to decidedly mixed results.
The New York Times reported that neighbors of Trump Scottish golf course, Trump International Gold Links, were sent a bill for a fence built along their property. The residents refused to sell their homes, so Trump put up the fence and trees to block their view.
David and Moira Milne had already been threatened with legal action by Mr. Trump’s lawyers, who claimed a corner of their garage belonged to him, when they came home from work one day to find his staff building a fence around their garden. Two rows of grown trees went up next, blocking the view. Their water and electricity lines were temporarily cut. And then a bill for about $3,500 arrived in the mail, which, Mr. Milne said, went straight into the trash.“You watch, Mexico won’t pay either,” said Mr. Milne, a health and safety consultant and part-time novelist, referring to Mr. Trump’s campaign promise to build a “beautiful, impenetrable wall” along the border and force the Mexicans to pay for it.
The couple said they now fly a Mexican flag at their house, which currently overlooks the golf course’s clubhouse.
Another couple who also refused to sell to Trump said that a 15-foot high earth wall was built along two sides of their property. One resident, Michael Forbes, has been personally attacked by Trump and flies a ‘Hillary for President’ flag at his home.
The NYT also noted that investment in the golf course never approached the promised $1.25 billion, instead stalling at $50 million. Also, the 6,000 jobs that were supposed to materialize in reality only resulted in 95. The golf course lost $1.36 million last year and Trump has spent much of his time feuding with local politicians and residents over things such as wind turbines, protected sand dunesand his guarantees of job creation.
The neighbor with the earth wall built around his property explained that Trump “has a thing about walls” and he hopes the American people have a “better experience” than the Scottish town.

in a video shot by a passenger on a Delta flight to Allentown, Pennsylvania, a Donald Trump supporter caused a bit of a scene when he went on a pro-Trump tirade while demeaning those who voted for Hillary Clinton.
The clip, posted to Twitter by Daily Beast contributing writer Yashar Ali and provided to him by passenger Emma Baum, begins with an unidentified man addressing the other passengers, apparently trying to get them to talk about the election.
He asks them the following while clapping his hands, “Really? Ain’t nobody gonna say no sh*t on this plane?”
After someone said they couldn’t hear him, he made sure they could.
“You can’t hear me,” he exclaimed. “Donald Trump, baby!” He then pointed to another man, saying he knew what was up, before asking if there were any Clinton voters on the flight.
